AHOULOU MELDEM is a fashion label, online store and made-to-measure service, offering high-quality garments and accessories produced in limited quantities by workshops in Germany.
Ahoulou Meldem draws on the diverse experience of its founders. Joy Ahoulou has worked for several years in product development and made to measure and Emilie Meldem has in-depth knowledge of designing for French luxury houses. By bringing these specialisms together, Ahoulou Meldem makes atelier-scale attention to detail and quality of production accessible to a broader audience.
As a scaled-down fashion brand, Ahoulou Meldem avoids long shipping routes, produces locally and designs pieces made to last. The editions are created with end-of-stock fabrics, meaning that the runs available on the website are limited.
Ahoulou Meldem’s structure and network is also put into place to work with other designers and artists on collaborations, which will be made available through the online store.
